Quito will be part of the World Car Free Day, on September 22

The Ecuadorian capital joins the international initiative of the World Car Free Day on Friday, September 22, 2017. The Municipality of the Metropolitan District invites citizens to take part in this activity and leave their cars at home and use other means of transportation.
The Quito City Hall reported that city officials would join this initiative. On Friday, municipal cars will not travel through the streets of the city; employees will use public transportation, non-motorized means such as bicycles or will walk. (I)
