Rafael Correa states that changing the High Command is more expensive than a lunch with artist Miguel Bosé
Posted On 06 Mar 2016
The Ecuadorian President, Rafael Correa, criticized the ceremony held for changing the High Command, describing is as “expensive” and “lacked humility”. The ceremony was celebrated during the anniversary of Tarqui’s Battle (“Batalla de Tarqui”, in Spanish), and he compared it to the lunch he had, one week before, with the international artist, Miguel Bosé, which cost one thousand seven hundred dollars.
The president did not provide information what was the final cost of the military ceremony. (I)
