Michelle Martelly was reunited with fellow haitians living in Ecuador
The president of Ecuador, Rafael Correa, met yesterday with his counterpart, Michelle Martelly, who called for more financial and human support for the reconstruction of Haiti, which was affected by a devastating earthquake in 2010.
Martelly was reunited in the big square, with several compatriots living in Ecuador who knew the president’s visit.
After that, the leaders moved to the Carondelet Palace and signed two bilateral agreements.
The Government emphasized the allocation of $ 15 million to support the reconstruction of the island.
Martelly thanked his counterpart for all the cooperation offered by the Ecuadorian State. (MZ)
