Rebecca Black leaves school because of bullying
Posted On 11 Aug 2011
The Anaheim Hills teenager, Rebecca Black, became famous for her Internet video “Friday.” Recently she left her Orange County school because the other students bullied her.
Black and her mother appeared on ABC’s show “Nightline” to explain that the taunts were too intense, and for this reason she is to be home-schooled. Black, 14, said that when she walked in school her fellow classmates start singing “Friday” in a really nasally voice.
Her mother, Georgina Marquez, said during the interview: “She certainly did not need that kind of pressure.” (AV)
