Referendum Results are Now Official

The results of the Referendum and the Popular Consultation performed last May 7 in Ecuador, were finally published this Wednesday July 13, 2011 in the Official Registry supplement number 490.

The results were sent to the National Editor, who printed 1,000 papers of it to be distributed through the whole country. The publication has 36 pages, the information can also be found in the official website. (www.registrofocial.gob.ec)

The National Electoral Council (CNE) confirmed the triumph of the YES in the 10 questions of the referendum. (AV)
