Riot police safeguards De los Shyris Tribune

200 riot policemen were deployed from 15:00 this Wednesday in front of the Tribune located at the De los Shyris Avenue, in northern Quito.

The messages “I´m a cop and also a son,” “I’m a cop and a brother also,” “I’m a cop _ and a father also” can be read on their shields.

Through social networks they were summoned to be present at De los Shyris Avenue from 17:00 to demonstrate, for the third consecutive day against the government, by the implementation of the new laws.

Behind this, in La Carolina park there are members of the National Police and the Metropolitan Police on motorbikes, coordinating the security of the place.
