Road to Posorja will be rehabilitated

After years of complaints from users, the Ministry of transport and public works (MTOP) signed a contract with the company Verdu for the expansion and maintenance of the road to Posorja, for a value of $10 million and a one-year execution time.

The Act, to which attended the Governor Viviana Bonilla and Deputy Minister of public works, Ricardo Del Hierro, was held on the Malecon of Posorja, where a review of the work of the Government was made.

Bonilla took the opportunity to point out that in 20 years of administration by the Social Cristiano political party there are still streets unpaved in Posorja, and criticized that in Guayaquil pools and monuments will continue to be built when there are basic  services still yo cover.

“In a year, this tourist route, which is part of the route of the Spondylus, is going to be un great conditions  to pass it and promote tourism”, the official announced.

The contract includes the extension of two rails, 3 to 3.60 meters each, and the construction of a new bridge of 90 metres at the km 13 of the road, is expected that arrangements will be  culminated in a year, and after that, it is estimated that the respective maintenance will be in a period of 48 months.
