Mitt Romney wins in New Hampshire

Former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney won the New Hampshire primary on Tuesday. Romney is followed by Texas Republican Ron Paul, and lastly came the former Utah Gov. Jon Hunstman who appeared to have a strong showing in the Granite State, came in third place.

Romney’s victory in New Hampshire, coupled with his victory in the different state of Iowa makes the frontrunner for the GOP presidential nomination. Romney has the 40 percent of the votes while Paul has 23 percent and Huntsman only 17.

“Thank you, New Hampshire,” Romney said Tuesday evening. “Tonight we made history!” (AV)
