Rowan Atkinson (Mr. Bean) had a car accident

After having a car accident yesterday afternoon, British actor Rowan Atkinson, best known for his character as “Mr. Bean”, was discharged from hospital in Peterborough after presenting minor injuries on one of his shoulders.

Atkinson, whose character as Bean is known for hapless driving, suffered the accident Thursday afternoon while riding near Haddon, a village about 85 miles to north of London.

The car lost control and crashed into a striking a tree and a lamppost before the vehicle caught fire. Fortunately, the actor left the vehicle (an F1 McLaren supercar) before catching fire to ask for help. (BG)
