Rules for payment of tax credits are ready

Posted On 13 Aug 2013

The regulation designed to facilitate the delivery of Tax Credit Certificates (CAT) “is ready” and just needs to be sent to the Executive for its approval, as announced by the Minister of Production, Richard Espinosa.

The guide, proposed by the Executive, will serve to implement the Law on Incentives to benefit the Productive Sector, after that on last June 27, Ecuadorian government presented the unilateral withdrawal from the renewal of the Andean Trade Promotion and Drug Eradication Act (ATPDEA).

According to the official, after reviewing the Executive, the regulation would pass to resolutions of the Committee of Foreign Trade (Comex). Espinosa also confirmed that the law will be published in the Official Gazette this week.
