Ruling party Assemblyman Acknowledge “Political Agreements”

Ecuadorian Official Virgilio Hernandez, who said to be in charge of explaining the agreements between politicians with people that is not happy with their offices posts, pointed out that this cannot be neither considered as a payment of favors nor vote buying in the latest National Assembly elections held last Sunday.

Hernandez informed that part of the political agreements is the designation of Eunice Arce, wife of Assemblyman Fernando Velez (former PSP member), as vice Mayor of Province Santo Domingo de los Tsachilas.

Hernandez talked about the political agreements of Alianza PAIS (the governments party) with the Assemblymen Henry Cuji (member of MIUP for the vicepresidency of the Justice Commission) and Alfredo Ortiz (Municipalista for the Autonomous Governments Commission and representative for the District Commission).

Meanwhile the current president of the National Assembly, Fernando Cordero, spoke with all the political forces while adding “they will never win any election by vote buying, manipulating thoughts, and offering whatever.” (AV)
