Ruptura will define its presidential candidacy
Next Saturday November 10, at Quito (Ecuador), the national convention of the Ruptura 25 movement will be held and it aims to define its presidential candidate.
The two possible candidates are Norman Wray, councilor of Quito and Francisco Jimenez, a former governor.
However, within the movement there is awareness of the low popularity of those potential candidates, because neither of them appear in any electoral poll.
Wray, on his behalf, says he is mentally prepared to win the presidenctial elections but stressed that the main objective of Ruptura is another. That is to consolidate and make themselves visible nationally, as a real option for power.
“We realize that we are walking and is a process of construction of medium and long term,” said Wray. (MZ)
