Safeguards beat up tax revenues

Tax collection felt the impact of the safeguards implemented by the Government since March. Last year, the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) recorded 524 million less by external taxes, compared to 2014.

The figure was decisive when showing the results of the IRS. The agency did not meet it goal for the first time in the current administration. It reached 95%. In 2015, it expected to raise 14,690 million and only 13,950 million were collected.

What items went down? The IVA on imports rose from 2,035 million dollars in 2014 to 1,722 million in 2015. 313 million less.
