Salamanca Player Suffers a Heart Attack on the Field

Last weekend at coliseum El Helmántico, a  soccer player for the Salamanca Team, Miguel Garcia had a heart failure during the minute 59 of the match.

Garcia’s heart stopped for 25 seconds, but thanks to the immediate help of the paramedics he was resurrected. However he won’t be able to play soccer.

This is the seventh case of a player that collapses on the field in the last three years. Three of them died, this increases the doubts regarding the medical controls performed by the doctors on the Spanish players.
