Saleh Exit Causes Hostilities in Yemen
Today 38 people died during the combats in the Yemeni capital by the forces of president Ali Abdulah Saleh. According to a report from the hospital of Sciences and Technologies in the capital of Sana, 24 supporters of the tribal chief Sadek al-Ahmar were killed during these attacks and several hundreds of civilians were also injured.
The Ministry of Defence also informed that 14 soldiers died and two more are missing in action. Confrontations between the tribe of the powerful sheik Sadek al-Ahmar and the forces of the Yemeni president Ali Abdulah Saleh have left several casualties.
Meanwhile a large number of demonstrators have reached the streets to demand the resignation of president Saleh after three decades. Around 2,000 tribes in the country expressed their support to Sadek al-Ahmar. Meanwhile the United States and the Saudi Arabia want to stop the hostilities in Yemen since this gives space to military groups.
