Sea of Fukushima has High Radioactive levels
The atomic poison that escaped from the Fukushima Daiichi nuclear power plant, has reached the bottom of the sea. TEPCO, the company that manages the broken nuclear plant, has detected radiation levels that are higher from 100 and 1,000 times superior than the normal rates.
The electric company announced that in a few weeks a device will be installed to purify the contaminated water with zeolite, a mineral that absorbs radioactive substances.
In April, over 500 tons of highly radioactive water leaked itself through a breach in the central. This broken structure did not resisted the tsunami impact that fell upon Japan on March 11. TEPCO recognizes that it will take them several months to fully repair the broken reactors and its leaks.
