Sending Your Ashes Into The Space Is Now Possible

What was once fiction in Star Trek is now a reality, your remains can now rest in the space after your death. Us company Celestis will launch a memorial spacecraft in the coming month, the “New Frontier Flight” will carry lipstick-sized capsules, which will contain seven grams of the participants’ ashes.

The spacecraft will orbit the Earth for many years until it burns up in the atmosphere. “Your loved one will venture into the final frontier as part of a real space mission”, the company says.

As for the cost, it is $3000 to send a fraction of your loved one into the space. The company  is currently signing people up to have a gram of their remains delivered to the lunar surface.
