The hashtags # SuorCristina, # TheVoiceFinale and Padre Nostro marked a trend in Italy.

Sister Cristina Scuccia, Sicilian nun, 25 years old, won the Italian version of the television competition “The Voice.” Possessing a powerful voice and great charisma, Sister Christine has interpreted throughout the program songs such as “What a Feeling” by Irene Cara, “Living on a Prayer,” by Bon Jovi, as well as sharing the stage with international artists of the likes of Ricky Martin and Kyile Minogue.

At the end of the program, Sister Cristina, encouraged by some Ursuline Sisters, sang an unreleased track “Lungo la Riva,” a gospel song style. After 3 hours of competition, the religious was proclaimed the winner of the edition of that competition, obtaining a record deal with Universal. Sister Cristina urged the audience to pray the “Our Father.”

Sister Cristina claimed that any decision about her future will be jointly taken with her superiors. The hashtags # SuorCristina, # TheVoiceFinale and Padre Nostro marked a trend in Italy.
