Sleeping with smartphones have negative effects
Posted On 14 Mar 2014
Recent studies say that sleeping with a cell phone or any smart device in our room would have a negative impact on the quality of our sleep.
The use of smart phones before going to sleep (and sometimes even overnight) reduces the quantity and quality of our sleep, according to researchers from Michigan State University.
Keeping us hooked until late hours, cell phones impede we can relax and sleep. Light, sound alerts, the expectation of a new call, and even getting up before the alarm sounds, keeps us in a state of unconscious warning, causing the morning fatigue and reducing our work performance, perpetuating a vicious cycle.
