Small and medium entrepreneurs of Guayaquil will be trained for business rounds
Guayaquil Empresarial is the proposal aimed at small and medium-sized entrepreneurs in the city, promoted by the Mayor’s Office of Guayaquil, together with the Municipal Public Company for the Management of Innovation and Competitiveness of Guayaquil, Épico; and the Corporation for the Promotion of Exports and Investments (Corpei).
The purpose of the initiative is to train small and medium-sized companies in Guayaquil for free, so that their owners participate in business rounds and generate alliances that promote the local economy through commercial agreements.
The presentation of this project will have the participation of the general manager of Épico, Bianca Dáger; Councilor Andrés Guschmer; and the executive president of Corpei, Eduardo Egas, on January 19, through the Zoom platform.
The business Guayaquil program will provide training through workshops and personalized sessions, in a theoretical and practical way, to participate in a business conference, improve verbal skills in sales using the Elevator pitch methodology, and generate contacts with potential buyers and companies to carry out Strategic Alliances.
Epic will assume the cost of the complete program valued at $ 500 + VAT to boost the productive chain of Guayaquil SMEs, and in this way reactivate the local economy after the covid-19 pandemic.
The workshops will be held in person at the Epic Entrepreneurship Center following the biosecurity measures established by the cantonal COE, so each company will have a quota for its legal representative or delegate.
These trainings are aimed at small companies such as agro-food, handicrafts, processed foods, textiles and accessories, pharmaceutical, chemical, hygiene and industrial use and services.
Interested persons may register through the emails olga.larrea@epico.gob.ec and dvelasco@corpei.org.ec
