Soccer Referees off The Strike
After five hours of hearing Alfredo Intriago, president of the referees of Ecuador, President of the Ecuadorian Soccer Federation (FEF), Luis Chiriboga, announced yesterday that this weekend the Ecuadorian Soccer Championship will be resumed.
After consensus, referees raised the step they took last Friday that forced to stop the 3rd and 4th date of the Series A. Referees were opposed to the inspectors are appointed by the Academic Committee (led by Carlos Villacis), as decided at the last Ordinary Congress.
Chiriboga said that “the arbitrators declined the request to repeal section approved by the Ordinary Congress in Soccer, because they realized that we could not repeal something passed by Congress” and announced that the article shall be automatically repealed at the Extraordinary Congress (February 29), which amend the statute to comply with FIFA‘s recommendation for a board member to direct the National Referees Commission (CNA).
FEF will not suspend the judges who did not attend the games to comply with the resolution of your body union.
