Spain has sent a plane to Ecuador with 50 members of the Military Emergency Unit and trained dogs to assist in the localization tasks of potential victims of the earthquake suffered by the Latin American country.
This assistance has materialized after the conversation held by head of government Mariano Rajoy, and president of Ecuador Rafael Correa. The Airbus aircraft of the Spanish Air Force boarded by UME staff left the airbase of Torrejon de Ardoz, as confirmed by Foreign Minister Jose Manuel Garcia Margallo.
