President of Colombia will personally deliver aid to Ecuador

The president of Colombia Juan Manuel Santos, expects to arrive today to Ecuador to deliver humanitarian aid to the victims of the earthquake of April 16 that struck the coasts of the country; and will meet with his counterpart Rafael Correa, the Colombian government confirmed in a statement.
The meeting between the leaders would be at 09:30 at the Manta airport (Manabi).
Colombia also planned to repatriate more than 200 of its citizens from Ecuador, with the help of the Army and the Red Cross, the Foreign Ministry reported.
According to official data, eleven Colombians died in Ecuador after the quake, including a 6-year-old boy who was missing for several days.
Colombia joins 26 other countries that have sent to Ecuador groups of rescuers and humanitarian aid (I).
