SRI pretends to gather $ 12,200 millions in taxes on 2013
The purpose of the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) as a goal in tax collection in the current year is to gather $ 12,200 million. Of this amount, $ 4,000 million would be from the income tax (IR), according to the director of the financial institution, Carlos Marx Carrasco.
The projections represent increments of 8.2% and 18%, respectively, compared to the amount collected the previous year for each item. According to the IRS, between January and December 2012 tax collections reached a total of $ 11,267 million, of which $ 3,391 million was for income tax.

SRI projections
Carrasco said the projections not only show the total revenue growth, but also increased the participation of direct taxes such as the income. The director of SRI also announced that due to the assumptions of the tax administration of companies that try to avoid paying taxes on foreign exchange outflow (ISD) or taxes on dividends to be transferred to companies based in Costa Rica, in this month the country will join the list of special law regimes.
The warning was made after explaining that in May the companies have to file schedule shareholders nationwide.
