Strong storms hit Canada and the United States

On Saturday, two people were killed by the passage of severe storms and tornadoes in Mississippi and Arkansas, where they also left injured people and several trucks were pushed off the road.
Forecasters have predicted up to 30 inches of snow in parts of the central United States. In other states there are warning of possible floods, while in Idaho and Oregon its already snowing.
Canada has also been affected by bad weather, around 400,000 households in the country are without power due to heavy ice storms falling since Saturday and that have affected air and ground traffic.
In Ontario (southwest), near 350,000 homes are without electricity as power companies had revealed. The company warned that strong winds may cause “further energy shortages,” and added that they will require 72 hours to restore power throughout the province.
