Supermarkets will open early and close before 13:00 due to the curfew by the coronavirus in Ecuador

The supermarket chains informed their customers of the new hours within the framework of the new provisions issued by the Government . The curfew begins at 2:00 p.m. and ends at 5:00 a.m. the following day, the average is in effect from this Wednesday, March 25, 2020 and was taken to stop the spread of covid-19 in Ecuador.

Almacenes Tía indicated, through its social networks , that the hours of operation of its supermarkets from Wednesday March 25, 2020, will be from 07:00 to 12:30.

Instead, Favorite Corporation , with its brands Supermaxi and Megamaxi, said, through their social networks, that it will attend from 08:00 to 12:30. The schedule also applies from Wednesday and will apply nationwide.

The service in My Commissariat starts from this Wednesday at 07:00 and ends at 12:30, the hours apply throughout the country.

The Santa María Supermarkets serve from today from 07:30 to 12:00.

Supermarkets reported that the essential requirements to enter these establishments are masks and gloves; enter only one person per family; not to go with vulnerable people, children or the elderly; and not to go in case of presenting symptoms.

The Favorite Corporation recalled that the stores in shopping centers are open.

The measures were reported after the government announced that a new schedule for the curfew is in effect from this Wednesday, which runs from 14:00 in the afternoon until 05:00 in the morning of the following day.
