Syrian Rebels Slaughter Local Journalists

Syrian al-Ikhbaryia Channel
Omran al-Zoubi, the Syrian Information Minister said that an armed group was responsible for killing seven TV journalists and workers in the Syrian al-Ikhbaryia Channel.
Al-Zoubi called it “the worst massacre against journalism and the freedom of the media.” The attack occurred at 20 km south of the capital of Damascus, they planted explosive devices at the headquarters of al-Ikhbaryia, after the blast they destroyed the Satellite Channel studios, including the newsroom.
The information minister stated that this attack helps the European Union decision in Luxemburg to impose sanctions on Syrian TV and Radio. Meanwhile the president of Syria Bashar al-Assad has acknowledged that his country is in a state of war. AV
