Tame opens new route and improves flight schedules
From next month Tame will add a new international route to its flight menu. The state company will reach to Fort Lauderdale airport in Miami, USA and currently the schedules and costs of the passages are being defined.
The decision came after a comprehensive review of the work of the company. Its CEO Fernando Guerrero believes that there are things that can be improved. Starting with the flight schedule as some of them are uncompetitive.
That’s why the routes to Lima, Buenos Aires, Sao Paulo, New York and Havana will be reviewed. According to the company , the idea is to turn Quito into a distribution center that allows connections between these destinations. One of Tame’s goals is to provide a flight such as: Buenos Aires-Quito-Havana, for example.
Leases, personnel, advertising and maintenance of aircraft are also being reviewed. The growth of the airline company in the past two years has caused an increase in premises and staff that is yet to be analyzed. There are no final results.
