The special consumption tax (ICE) for fixed and mobile telephony the government seeks to revive through the draft Organic Law for the Balance of Public Finances, represents 35.52% of all that is expected to be collected with the tax reforms.
The bill is discussed these days in the Commission on the Economic System of the Assembly.
According to the IRS, with the regulations, about $ 335 million would be collected, but only 15% of the total imposed on telephony companies (not natural persons) would represent $ 126 million.
