Tendering for studies of the way to the Guayaquil airport opens tomorrow

The call for the tender of the studies of the parallel road to the Coastal route to be built by the Municipality, will be held tomorrow, July 31.

This was announced on Tuesday by the Mayor of Guayaquil Jaime Nebot, during the inauguration of works in the San Gregorio neighborhood of the Chongon rural parish, near the land area of the new city airport.

In the area of ​​the Polytechnic School of the Coast-Espol (Perimetral highway) they way would initiate and would be extended up to km. 18 or 24 of the Coastal route. Subsequently,  it will be connected for 9 miles to the grounds of the new intercontinental airport in Daular.

The municipality reports that the exact location of the road shall be determined by the studies to be recruited and the first phase would be ready in 2024, according to projections.
