Territorial Clients start collecting on Monday

At the Pacific Bank agencies and, in accordance with the schedule established by the Deposit Insurance Corporation (COSEDE for its Spanish acronym), clients of the recently closed Territorial Bank, with deposits up to $ 31,000, will begin to recover their money.

The bank entity was closed unexpectedly in previous days. According to the authorities of the Superintendence of Banks, the Territorial was no longer viable and had solvency problems. Currently is being investigated over possible money laundering.

The return of funds will be based on the last digit of the identity card of the customers, and the schedule has been made so that both natural and legal persons may access their money without agglomeration problems. Even the COSEDE has published the schedule on its web site www.cosede.gob.ec.
