The 4Pelagatos.com website was yesterday ‘offline’ for hours

4 Pelagatos.com website, which is made up of journalists Jose Hernandez, Roberto Aguilar, Martin Pallares and Crudo Ecuador, Sunday was offline for several hours.

The website recorded the message: “Website is offline.” In its Twitter and Facebook accounts, Aguilar pointed out that the site was “under attack” and blamed the government. Pallares said that the first blockade occurred around 14:00, then the page was reestablished and about 15:00 the website´s connection was lost again.

The incident occurred hours after the Ministry of Communication banned 4Pelagatos the use of pictures of official websites.
