The candidates start their campaign activities

Eight presidential binomials have scheduled concentrations in 4 provinces as the official start of the electoral campaign in Ecuador.
Paco Moncayo, of National Agreement for the Change, will officially begin his campaign activity at 08:00 with a press conference. He will attend an act in Cayambe, then a caravan in Carapungo and at night, he will participate in an event in Guayaquil with his binomial partner, Monserratt Bustamante.
Patricio Zuquilanda, the candidate for Patriotic Society, will begin his tours in Sucumbios. However, Daysi Tufiño, from the campaign department, said there would not be a big event, as no budget has been designated for this.
The candidate for the Fuerza Compromiso Social movement, Ivan Espinel, will attend a party concentration at 10:00 am outside the Petroecuador facilities in the capital, to present his proposal against corruption.
Cynthia Viteri (PSC party) will start her agenda at 06:40 with an interview on a television channel. Then she will travel to Quito, where she will be at an event in the Federation of Craftsmen. In the afternoon she will lead a concentration in Guayaquil.
Abdalá Bucaram Pulley, from Fuerza Ecuador, organized a breakfast at 08:00. He will have lunch with the candidates of his party, and in the afternoon he will lead a caravan with his Vice President candidate Ramiro Aguilar. The launching of his campaign will be held in the southwest of Guayaquil.
Washington Pesantez, of the Ecuadorian Union movement, chose Manabi. In the morning he will tour several sectors of Manta and Santa Ana, and in the afternoon he will star a massive act in Portoviejo.
The CREO-SUMA presidential hopeful, Guillermo Lasso, will concentrate in Guayaquil. Between 07:00 and 08:40 he was interviewed by four radio stations, then had a breakfast and in the afternoon he will visit an entrepreneur.
Meanwhile, the presidential candidate for Alianza PAIS, Lenin Moreno, will visit the San Juan de Dios shelter and the Isidro Ayora hospital, in Quito.
