On September 11 at the bar-restaurant El Rincon del Cerro, located on the Cerro Santa Ana (Centre of Guayaquil), took place the official presentation of the book ‘The correismo al desnudo’.
This work is a collection of 21 articles that analyze and criticize the current management of the Government, as well as its economic model, social policies, the State advertising system and the State of both individual and collective rights.
The articles contained in the book were written by Freddy Álvarez, Ramiro Avila, Carlos Castro, Juan Cuvi, Pablo Dávalos, Carlos de la Torre, Francisco Hidalgo, among others.
The former presidential candidate, Alberto Acosta, attended the presentation of the work in which was the author of the prologue, and said that this book was not written for political proselitism, but to show critically the political management of the present Government.
Acosta, who previously was a militant of the ruling party, Minister of energy and mines, and then President of the National Assembly, compared the President Rafael Correa with a “irresponsible bus driver who puts the directional left and turn right”, this after saying that the Government of Correa is “a left complacent with the right”.
The book was also presented yesterday at 18:00, at the Faculty of jurisprudence of the University of Cuenca.
