The cruise season begins with three ships

With the arrival on Wednesday of the Minerva, with 350 passengers on board, the cruise season begins in Guayaquil.
This is the first of three ships expected for January, according to information released yesterday by the Municipal Public Company for Tourism, Civic Promotion and International Relations of Guayaquil (EPM).
The Minerva, from Europe, has won multiple Swan Hellenic awards for over 60 years.
It will begin its journey in Guayaquil, before continuing on to Manta, Panama, Puerto Limon, Roatan, Puerto Cortes, Belize, Costa Maya and Cozumel.
The other boats are the Mariner and Pear II, expected to arrive between the 17th and 30th of this month.
In the first 700 passengers will arrive while 600 with the Pear II.
The Pear will arrive at port of Guayaquil sailing from Southampton (England) and will stay from 08:00 until 17:00, to then continue its journey through Callao, Antofagasta, Montevideo, Buenos Aires, Punta del Este, Rio de Janeiro, among other destinations.
The EPM, directed by Gloria Gallardo, prepares the protocol to receive these groups of tourists.
