The earthquake death toll rises to 587 and the number of injured people to 8,340

In a new balance of the death toll from the earthquake that struck Ecuador last Saturday, the Risk Management Secretariat (SNGR) reports that there are 587 dead in the last report issued yesterday at 17:30.
It also reports 8,340 injured and 155 missing people.
The death toll provided by the SNGR coincides with the information provided, by a advance until 16:00 this Thursday by the Attorney General´s office.
According to the Attorney´s office, of the 587 dead, 539 were identified and handed over to their families, and 48 are in the process of identification of identity.
