The father Francisco asked not to exclude divorced
Pope Francisco during a speech to Polish bishops who yesterday visited the Vatican, asked the pastors of the Church to question to themself how can help the Catholics who have broken their marriage. Also defended the family as a cell of society, since it is the place where you learn to live together in diversity and where the parents pass the faith to their children.
Jorge Mario Bergoglio analyzed the evolution of marriage and said: “Today is regarded as a form of emotional gratification which can be done in any way and changed according to the sensitivity of each”.
For Francis, “Unfortunately this vision also affects the minds of Christians, by providing them with the possibility of resorting to the divorce or separation in fact”.
The divorced must feel “the concern of the Church” for their salvation and this must hold them so they don’t abandon the faith and educate their children “in the fullness of the Christian experience”, said the Pope.
On the other hand, Francisco believes is needed to improve the preparation of young couples who take the step toward marriage. “To discover always more the beauty of this union than, well founded on love and responsibility, is capable of overcoming trials, difficulties, selfishness with reciprocal forgiveness,” explained.
