Therefore, standards that sustain quality production that generate sources of work are required, and thus avoid migration from the countryside to the city, “Chiriboga said.

In addition, he added, the consumer campaign should focus on reducing child malnutrition and improving overall nutrition. “You cannot categorize foods intrinsic to natural products, such as lactose, as bad. We are not against the labeling of packaged foods (semaphore), but it is not fair that a well-known soft drink has a green light and that dairy products are presented with several red lights, “Chiriboga added.
