The Human Rights Commission Called Judge Garzon for the Glas Viejo Case

The Human Rights Commission, and Supporters of the National Assembly accepted the request made by Pedro Granja, accusing attorney of Jorge Heriberto Glas Viejo, and established that an immediate consult be carried out urgently to the bring the international provider of Ecuadorian justice Baltasar Garzon, so that he explains why his report does not includes the violations to the process that would involve judges, prosecutors and attorneys.
According with Pedro Granja, the report of Garzon does not include the serious denounces of the process to its sponsors. Granja called such report “a legal aberration” regarding the inquiring process against Glas Viejo.
Meanwhile yesterday it was reported that Jean Piero Romano Campodonico Perez and Carlos Alejandro Cruz Parrales, attorneys that participated in the process against Jorge Heriberto Glas Viejo were expelled from the National Federation of Attorneys in Ecuador, and would be prosecuted criminally. Both are partners of the same judicial firm, according to the expelling act, but they turned each other as supporters to favour the accused of violating a girl. The case would be exposed in the Assembly.
