The journey of international aid

The international community continues sending rescue workers, products and money for the earthquake victims. Once they arrive at Ecuadorian soil, the government decides the course of each contribution.

The Foreign Ministry is the first filter. The head of this entity, Guillaume Long, said that the help is channeled from this stance. If it is a contingent of food and victuals, for example, they send this to the Ministry of Economic and Social Inclusion (MIES).

According to President Rafael Correa, several countries expressed their solidarity and sent products for the affected. Peru, for example, sent two planes loaded with supplies to Ecuador.
