The merchandise that leaves the Ecuador will go through an anti-narcotics system
The President of the Republic, Guillermo Lasso, signed Decree No. 227 on the afternoon of October 19, which provides that all cargoes leaving Ecuador go through an anti-drug scanning system.

Article 78 of the Regulation to the Title of the Customs Facilitation for Trade establishes that the National Customs Service of Ecuador may carry out inspections of the merchandise through a technological system of X-ray scanning or similar.
Likewise, controls in temporary warehouses, ports, airports and border crossings will be strengthened. This decision corresponds to a complementary action to the National Security Plan.
This occurs after the state of emergency was decreed, the creation of the Legal Defense Unit of the Public Force, as measures to stop the crime and drug trafficking that have been subjected to Ecuador.
