The Mike Tyson role will be played by Jamie Foxx

The Variery website reported that actor Jamie Foxx will play the legendary boxer Mike Tyson, this project has the participation of Terence Winter, in charge of the script. The producer of the new film will be Foxx’s manager Rick Yorn.

Tyson is one of the most iconic figures in American box during the decade of the 80s, also known for his controversial battles in the ring. In 1990 he lost his title into the hands of Buster Douglas, but in 1996 he returned to crown himself champion against Frank Bruno.
