The National Audit Office prosecutes a former public employer for $ 35 missing

Ruth Guale, a young woman from Manglaralto, Santa Elena province, appeared at the National Audit Office yesterday afternoon to render her version at the trial brought against her.
Guale is accused by the state agency for an alleged embezzlement for $ 35 when she served as a tax collector at the Manglaralto Fire Department.
Jenny Paliz, of the Public Ministry, investigates the case. The prosecutor heard the version of the young woman, who assures that the day on which the illegality allegedly occurred, she did not go to work and demonstrated it with evidence.
In September 2016 a report from the National Audit Office notified Guale of the missing values, and she immediately paid for it even though it was not her fault; The bank certification of the $35 deposit remains in the NAO´s records (I).
