This afternoon, the next president of the Court of Justice of Guayas will be chosen. The election will start at 15:30.
Zoilo Lopez, temporary president of the Court and Francisco Morales, Judge 2nd of Labor and Children and Adolescents, are the two candidates to head the Court.
Lopez called for this afternoon to the 21 judges that make up the seven specialized rooms (three judges for each) with the aim of installing the full court and make the secret ballot. In those 21 votes are added that of Lopez.
The call for elections was made 48 hours before of the scrutiny.
Both Lopez as the full Court shall appoint a tribunal to register voters, count the votes, and announce the winner.
