The premises regulated by the Ministry of Tourism may sell liquor

Niels Olsen, Minister of Tourism, confirmed that he signed an inter-institutional agreement with his counterpart from the Ministry of Government, César Monge, to contribute to the economic reactivation in the tourism sector.

The premises regulated by the Ministry of Tourism may sell liquor

Through his Twitter account, Olsen explained that the measure that restricted the sale of liquor on Sundays was repealed, in places regulated by the Ministry of Tourism.

“This is of great help for the sales of restaurants and hotels,” said the official.

The restriction on sales of alcoholic beverages on Sundays is still in force on a national scale in all commercial premises, except now businesses regulated by the tourist entity.
