The President denounces that General Luis Garzon monthly receives $ 90 from military alimony despite doing “office work”

President Rafael Correa referred to the controversy sparked by the head of the Joint Command of the Armed Forces, Luis Garzon, by demanding that the military are assigned $ 3 daily for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Despite doing office work, living and working in Quito Monday through Friday from 9h00 to 17h00, the President reported that Garzon charges the alimony, even though this amount is only applied to the military who work in border areas.
“This impressed me,” said President Correa referring to the complaint of General Luis Garzon, who denounced that the military have breakfast, lunch and dinner with $ 3 a day.
