The salary increase will be 3.26% in 2016

Wages in the fishing, mines, pharmaceuticals, beverages and tobacco, metallurgy, vehicles, construction, product sales, tourism, transportation, services, education and health sectors will be increased by 3.26% in 2016. This was resolved by13 sectorial commissions during the meeting with Lenin Cadena, undersecretary of employment and wages of the Labour Ministry.

The 21 commissions are made up of 139 branches of the economic activity of the country. The percentage approved means an increase in the remuneration.
