Ecuadornews:
About 30 militants gathered yesterday afternoon outside the headquarters of the Alianza PAIS Party, in front of the Shyris Avenue Tribune (in the north of Quito). Their objective? To support the Citizen’s Revolution, which they call the legacy of former president Rafael Correa, and mainly support vice president Jorge Glas.
“We are here because we defend the principles of the party and it is not possible that President Moreno stabs us in the back; We will not allow that,” shouted a woman who identified herself as Maria.
Yesterday, Jorge Glas sent a public letter to President Lenin Moreno in which he claims to feel a victim of slander for corruption during the administration of former president Rafael Correa. (I)
