“The Starry Night” by Van Gogh, in the Giants Route of Guayaquil

A total of 34 oversized puppets will be exhibited until next Saturday, January 12 in Guayaquil as part of the so-called “Ruta de los Gigantes”.

They are puppets from 3 to 10 meters high, which are exhibited in two circuits, in which you can find the representations of characters from the movie Coco, Mazinger Z, The Smurfs, The Nun, The Tremendous Court, among others.

One of the works that stands out in the route is the one that recreates the starry night of the Dutch painter Vicent Van Gogh (post-impressionism). It was made by José Salas, a 39-year-old craftsman, who took a month to achieve this 5-meter representation.

It is located in the streets Medardo Angel Silva between 15 and 16. The first circuit of the route goes from 20 and Capitán Najera to 24 and Brazil, and the second from 24 and 2 Callejón Francisco Segura, 18 and Francisco Segura and 24 and Cristóbal Colón.
