The veto for the Water Law will be discussed tomorrow

Posted On 30 Jul 2014

ley-de-aguas-asambleaTomorrow will be analyzed in the National Assembly the veto of the Executive for the Law of Water Resources, Use and exploitation of Water.

The Committee on Food Sovereignty and Development of the Fisheries and Agricultural Sector proposes to yield to the objection of the President of the Republic. The Commission states that the 10 amendments proposed would clarify and complement the content and meaning of the law.

The changes outlined in the veto are referents to Article 7 on the activities in the strategic water sector; Article 18 on the powers of the Authority of the Water; or Article 105 of the conditions and guidelines that authorize the productive use of bottled water.
